Alex London is a small couture house based out of New York City, Paris, and Milan.
Possessing a deep need to capture the images seen in the darkest and
most beautiful parts of the human mind; Alex London uses less then
conventional techniques and aesthetics. Publications include Vogue
Taiwan, a Vogue gallery exhibition, Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, ELLE Man
Vietnam, and Z!NK Magazine March cover featuring Taylor Momsen. Alex
London pieces have been worn by a plethora of celebrities that include
Carmen Dell'Orefice, Anne Hathaway, Kat Deluna, Raja Gemini, and
Amanda Palmer. Alex London's first pret-a-porter collection "Blood
Red, Sister Rose" was released exclusively in Japan via Monoco for
Fall 2012.

About Alex London's debut to the Fashion World Stage Collection
"Kagami" for New York Fashion Week:
Within the mirrors of ourselves the garments of " Kagami " parallel as
they fade from black, blue-grey, grey, greyish brown, brown, to cream,
white, and a finally deep crimson. Floating chiffons and silk tulle
make up the collection and are paired with stiff metal cage-like
structures. The contrast of the metal with the light weight sheer
fabrics shows us an interpretive form of the bound nature of the human
spirit. As the garments move and flow like water, the metal cage keeps
us bound in the fabrics. Whilst the bone woven into the metal plays
off a mirror of our "inner" selves.
About Alex London's Paris Fashion Week Fall Winter 2013 "The Gallows"
Inspired by the song "The Gallows" by Coco Rosie, the collection draws
upon the imagery of a Victorian widow in various states of mourning.
The collection will include heavily embroidered and beaded lace gowns,
bodices, and veils.
Stylists and Photographers: ALD by Alex London is available for Editorial and Private Clients
Our rates for rentals are as follows
$350 for the first completely styled look and $50 each additional look.
Please be aware that any damages that may occur are the sole responsibility of the person or persons renting the garment and may be charged up to the full amount of the garment.
All sample sizes are made to a 30" bust 22" waist 32" hip, with select samples made in smaller sizes.
NYC based Apprenticeship and Design Internship ARE positions available! All applicants must have design and/or sewing experience and be available 2-3 days per week . Positions begin immediately and are available through late June with the possibility of an extension. Both New Jersey and NYC based interns will be considered. Please contact us for more information.
